i had a small cyst (with black tip)since 6-7 months under my right breast…it dint hurt at all …until 1 month back…started itching became red ,breast was swollen up n very hot…my G.P gave me some antibiotics , my cyst had some inflammation…there was some discharge for about three days…n it was completely gone, but green discharge n blood from my nipple started …got it checked again doctor suggested biopsy…n now am waitin 4 my result…my symptoms r very much similar 2 inflammatory breast cancer so am a bit worried…plzzz if anyone knows anything plzzz do reply…

hi, did your doctor say your symptoms are the same as ibc, or did you google and thats what it seems like??
Is this all still at your GP or are you being seen at a breast clinic now?
If you are being seen by a breast clinic they are experts and would spot ibc and have said that was what it might be.
If you are still being seen by a GP and have not had scans or been seen by a breast clinic you might want to go back to him and tell him your concern. He can either reuassure you that he had considered IBC and rejected it, and that is best to wait for the biopsy results, or reconsider his diagnosis and urgently refer you to a breast clinic.
Depends on how quickly he is expecting the biopsy results back.
But if it is your GP you are worried go back anyway and talk it over with him. You will not be wasting his time. Unless you have a realy close relationship with him tell the receptionist you have new concerns about your breast and want to see any doctor quickly. She might squeeze you in and give you an emergancy slot.
Hi butterfly, my best mate had this happen a few years ago she had 4 lumps down the side of her boob which your describe then the green discharge from the both nipples really bad … Good news hers was a nasty infection she thought the worse I do hope this is all yours turns out to be

PLEASE DON’T GOOGLE the info is so controvesial, out of date & just scares the living day lights out of you GOOGLE is not a good place for anyone with worrying symtoms waiting for result. Stick to RECOMMENDED sites such as this one.
Do give the helpline here a call they are great

awww sweetie, I am so sorry you are having such a horrible time. The waiting really really is the worst bit so we can all understand exactly how you are feeling.
As others have said do not GOOGLE. Alot of the information out there especially on IBC is very OUT OF DATE. Things move on and treatments get better. If you want to read stuff go to Macmillan or breast cancer care. THey will give you honest, correct information. Ignore anything else from any other sites as alot of it is just speculation.

I totally understand these waiting about is so mind blowing & understand looking at your little girl just puts your emotions into overdrive, she will be an enormous strength for you in the weeks ahead, but right now its just a case of coping each minute of each day without ‘BC’ invaiding your thoughts

I know exactly where you are coming from. I went to doctors 5 weeks ago with very sore boob and armpit she gave me some antibiotics and i went back 2 weeks laterand she double checked me because there was still something there she just referred me to the breast clinic. I had an ultrasound and mammogram and a biopsy. I saw the dr before I left and he came in with a macmillan nurse. It is a possibility that I have breast cancer. This was on Tuesday I go on Monday to get the results. I am terrified and finding it very hard to concentrate on anything. Good luck with your results I hope that you get good news xxx
