Hi, hope you don’t mind me joining in, I’ve been lurking for the last five days and you seem such a lovely caring bunch that I’ve plucked up the courage to post. In a nutshell I had routine mammo on Monday, phone call Tuesday, ultrasound and core biopsies Friday and going back next Friday for stereotactic biopsy of another area. Hoping for first biopsy results this wed. Radiologist thinks both areas of concern are prob benign but the fear is still there! If anyone on here is going to have biopsies I can honestly say it wasn’t anywhere near as bad as I imagined! All I felt was a little stinging with the local anaesthetic going in. The waiting for results is by far the worst part of this. My mind is all over the place and fine one minute and wobbling like a bowl of jelly the next! Roll on Wednesday so I can deal with round 1 . Well, waiting is the worst ever, every thought you can have spins around in your head non stop, it really is horrible.
Don’t lurk just keep posting, it really does help being able to talk about your worries fears etc.

I waiting on results from biopsy had it on thursday and got to wait till Thursday for results these days r dragging x
I got results yesterday from first core biopsy which showed benign breast tissue so I’m obviously very happy about that. Tomorrow I’m having stereotactic biopsy of another area then its back to the waiting room til next Wednesday. The mammogram report said this area was probably benign so keeping fingers crossed!
