Hi Shammy
Brilliant news. I was thinking of you all morning. I wonder if like me you feel the whole situation has been surreal.
Margaret, you are one of a number of brave ladies on this site, my admiration of your courage can never go high enough.
Thanks Demi …yes it was surreal…Ive posted a meassage on the ‘scared’ topic.Margaret you sound so positive.Where are you up to now?

Hi Jackie
Believe me if you’d seen me this last week you wouldn’t have thought I was positive lol - had third Fec on 9th Jan - suffered a massive downer afterwards - but have come out of it now fortunately - so should get a good week and half till the next one!
Then I have to go and stay away from home to have my radiotherapy - not looking forward to that much but has to be done I guess
take care

Hi Margaret
God it must be awful…an yet youre on here offering reassurance and help to other peopl…keep ur chin up (as we say up north) Ill keep popping on to have a chat…hope the radiotherapy goes well…its bad enough that you have to have radiotherapy but not to be at home as well !!! …Its a horrible disease
speak soon
Jackie

Hi Jane
Glad you found the procedure not too bad - and as you say you are free of it now!
In the nicest possible way - hope you don’t need us again either !

yes just been to see consultant post op check - was benign but bigger than showed up on scans. nothing to worry about though. i am relieved as there is always a slight niggle that perhaps biopsy was wrong. i feel very lucky too - he told me that NHS are reducing age for routine mammos to 47 so that is really good news!
good luck for the future margaret. i am going to stop logging on to this site for now as it is easy to become obsessed!
