has anyone found a good substitute for washing synthetic wigs than the expensive ones on offer?
Hi I spent ages on YouTube watching wig washing videos! I used baby shampoo (Tesco own brand), sink of tepid water (not hot) and swish wig to wet it. Put baby shampoo on hands and gently squeeze wig and concentrate on the edges of the cap where it may get sweat or makeup on it. Swish it in the water to rinse. I used a small amount of conditioner in a clean sink of water to smooth it and soften it. Roll in a towel and put on wig stand (do not stretch it over, just rest it on). Mine was usually dry enough to wear in 3-4 hours. Hope this helps!
