I put on 2 stone with capecitabine my weight just seemed to creep up each month. What are a few extra pounds in the scheme of things?

hi debs, uh oh really ? if im gainin weight as fast as i have been im gonna be the size of a row of houses not just one!!! why is it that weight is gained? my onc said there was no side effect of weight gain with xeldoa? i have to say its good as i was a skinny bean at 8 stone! (used to be 10 1/2 stone 1 yr half ago!)
im also a bit paranoid i may be bald for my wedding as im goin against the rules and havin my hair dyed usin normal hairdressers dye - aparently they aren that harsh nowadays, but not veg dye as supposed to have - hairdresser said be ok!!! so fingers xd for this saturday!!! xx

I went from a size 14 to 18 in the 2 years I was on it. Good news I coloured my hair with Nice n Easy and lots of other stuff from chemist my hair was really thick and fab condition.

ps. im happy to gain weight! i was getting cast offs from my 20 yr old stepdaughter whois a size 4-6-8 depending on style/make! she had couple o jeans size 8 which fit lovely on me and also have size 6 cardy and top from her! (she eats like a horse! but is such a skinny skinny bean!)but i dont want to be as skinny as her so now approachin a size 10 its great :-)a 12 would be even better as i have a whole wardrobe of clothes in the loft!!! xx

Well im now very happily married 
the wedding was PERFECT! loved and enjoyed the day and i was well on the day which was fantastic and i managed to totter in my heeled wedding shoes till midnight with a 12noon wedding so was pleased with my 12 hour stint! so was absolutely delighted
downside was my counts were too low to have chemo the week after the weddin - but not unexpected 
but nevermind it was worth it! just hope its not set me back…
