Hi
Yes you are ok to feel weepy, I was diagonosed in Jan, and this year has been awful, had masectomy , reconstruction, chemo and radiotheraphy, and went to see onocologist yesterday and now free from visits till January, it feels really strange , I should feel happy ,but I feel scared , It sometimes helps coming on here and others times it makes you really sad,
I try to think there is always someone out there having more of a s… time than you ,and people who are 2 years down the line tell you it should get better, lets hope aye, hope your having a better day tomorrow x julie
Hi there
I feel the same- really weepy for some reason.
I was diagnosed 6 weeks or so ago now…had mastectomy, lymph nodes removed this week and then back to discuss the results in a week. I feel as though i am on a rollercoaster at the moment.
i am hoping it will pass…
Hugs to you xxx
Hi all
Just wanted to mention to you all about the live chat on a Thursday evening as it may help to chat about how you are feeling to others in a similar situation.
Live chat is an online service where you can talk to others in real time. It is facilitated by an experienced moderator and a specialist nurse who are on hand to point you to sources of help and information. It runs from 9pm to 10pm every Thursday.
If you would like to find out more on how to join please follow this link:- breastcancercare.org.uk/community/live-chat/
I hope you find this helpful.
Kind regards
Sam (BCC Facilitator)
Hi Mcgill
I have found that most of the time i have been able to cope with things since my diagnosis but about once a month i really feel the need for a bloody good sob!I havent worked out why this happens but i do seem to feel a bit better afterwards.Sometimes you can end up bottling things up so it can be a big help to let if all out.
Take care

hi mcgill,I have suffered breast cancer at my youth, 20-year-old. At first I had severe pains in one of my breasts, and there was also a some-what large and hard lump in the same one. However my other breast seemed perfectly normal. I don’t know if this had anything to even do with it.I went to the doctor, I would like to know what this meaned, and if it meaned that i might have breast cancer. Was it even possible to have breast cancer at age 20?
Fortunately, I went to the doctor and get an accurate diagnosis and correct treatment. I am fine now.I have paid 200% attention to breast health and how to prevent breast cancer.
breastcancer.dormitory.com is one of the websites I stick to and it help to update me with the latest breast health advice and relevant videos.
