I’ve been struggling with this for a couple of weeks but am seeing my onc tomorrow for my three-month post-rads check-up but just thought I’d post here to see if anyone has had anything similar.
I have a strange tingling/burning sensation in the affected boob (not exactly painful as such, just uncomfortable) but it feels as if something is pressing on a nerve as I have the same tingling feeling in my left arm and down one side - I don’t really know what nerve pain feels like but imagine this is what it is :~ As I was dx’ed with secondaries from the off, I haven’t had surgery but have had chemo and rads to the boob and lymph nodes.
I have bone mets but I really don’t think this is connected, my spine (touch wood) is feeling fine
Hi Lesley, I’ve had very similar feeling in affected boob when the primary has either shrunk or my markers have taken a dive downwards…not into my arm etc though…I would guess it was a good (albeit uncomfortable) sign, side effect from all those rads?

Thanks Belinda, have just come back from seeing my onc - there is no longer any evidence of the primary tumour!! She says the pain I’ve been getting is due to odema (sp?) of the breast skin and tissue and I need to buy a bigger bra ,lol, but that it will all subside in time. Really pleased, going to relax and enjoy Christmas now!!
