How do you access profiles now please?

Have been away from computer all week and everything has changed!

I don’t like it either to be honest ladies!
I find it much harder reading posts and really preferred the old system (sorry, I don’t like change).
Still can’t work out how to view peoples profiles, help!!

I miss not being able to look at other people’s profiles and, even more, I miss reading their previous postings. I queried this with the Moderator when I was in Complementary Therapires category. You will see the Moderator’s answer there; basically with this new system we cannot see other people’s profiles. I feel that for me this new site is not of much use. I see it will be good for people who want to use the private messaging facility, but why mess with the features that we like? I spent hours on this site reading old postings and learning a lot. It would be perfectly easy for the techies to reinstall those facilities if they wanted to.

I know people dont like change and i am top of that list. However it has changed and we have to get on with it i suppose. its probably cost a fair bit for the whole site to be changed.
I remember when i first joined we were able to view profiles and contact other people. and the site was nice and clear why didnt you go back to that lay out?

Haven’t been on here for a while and have to say, dont cope with change too well (old dog, new tricks and all that). I really miss the profiles as it could give you a real sense of the person behind the post, and old posts could be help as they could sometimes answer a current niggle. Oh well, back to BCPALS. Cherry
