Hi,
Well would you believe it .There i was very proud of myself for getting through op.Spent yesterday pottering about, doing exercises.Husband and son both working till 10pm,My lovely bc nurse rang at 430 to see how I was and told her I was fine .I have not got any drains as surgeon doesn’t do them so I had last seen her on Fri to have fluid drained.They had said that it will drain itself so the more I could leave it ,without being uncomfortable, the better as there is more risk of infection if they keep putting needles in So although a little swollen I told her I was ok and could move arm freely .So 1030 comes and my men arrive home, as I stood up whoosh,fluid from my wound flushes out and a lot of it. My son ran out of the room. So off to A&E we go. Finally got a bed at 330 am.BC nurse came to see me later in the morning and dressed it, took a swab,and I arrived home at lunchtime,very tired.District nurse coming tomorrow and I have appointment with onc pm.What a carry on. ha ha

hi mary, hope yr ok now. i must say i did laugh as i could just see my 2 boys doing the same as yr son,but they would have headed for the front door. let us all no how u get on tomorrow

Hi Maria,
Am ok thanks.Onc very pleased,and has had some results ,but will get confirmation on Fri.She said tumour was 4cms and there was no spread to lymph glands ,so good news so far.

Sorry to hear about the carry on with the fluid. Good news about no spread to the lymph nodes tho. Hope you continue on the road of good news and no more trips to A&E.
