I am due to have a CT scan and I was wondering what else a CT scan shows up?
Has anyone else gone for a routine scan prior to rads where anything else was discovered?

I had a CT scan as part of my radiotherapy planning session and it actually helped me put my mind at ease. My onc said that it wasn’t a diagnositic CT scan but if anything was up, they would be able to see it.
Thankfully mine was normal - honestly nothing to worry about

I feel better too knowing a scan would show up anything untoward. I’m not thinking it will show anything up but am pleased that it will if there was anything wrong.
