What do I do next?

Hi all, 24F, so back in 2023 I found a palpable lump at the 12oclock position of my left breast, suffering really bad with dull aches and burning sensation in my breast since (occurs majority of the time not just during menstrual cycle), I attended 2 different hospitals, seen many of doctors and nurses all to which told me different things(hormonal changes, fibroadenoma or simply that it was just fatty tissue) I had an ultrasound done in both hospitals and nothing could be found yet it could be felt, in the end I had to switch to private healthcare due to being refused a biopsy, I had a consultant with my consultants in the private hospital and he suggested another ultrasound which I had in February and they found the lump thankfully. Yesterday I got a letter to say ‘a 16 mm area at the 12 o clock position of the left breast consistent with a lipoma’. My concerns are is this a complete finding and no more will be done, why did it take nearly 3 years for the lump to show on the ultrasound and should I push for a biopsy?.

Thanks

Sorry i can’t help really, but as you’ve had no replies i didn’t want to pass by. Sounds like NHS and your private doctors don’t think a biopsy is needed, maybe you could talk to the nurses on here? They will have an independent view and are always very helpful. Good luck xx
