Advice please…mum with IBC secondaries in lungs. Third chemo session Friday. Meeting the onc Thursday, what should I be asking? She’s had 2 FEC and Herceptin and will have taxotere next. We never see the same onc they are all a ‘team’ so I feel like it’s up to us to keep questioning them as I worry about the continuity between them. What else do we need to ask or know? We’ve been told incorrect info twice now eg that it hadn’t spread then after questioning they said thecheats X-ray was missing then said actually sorry it has spread. Mums GP rang to check mum knew what was happening but then made mum feel like there was no hope…has anyone else had experiences like this? Thank you in advance for your time x
