I imagine I might be preaching to the converted, but having had surgery a couple of months ago and, unfortunately, having a wound which opened up and now needs frequent redressing I found wearing an ordinary bra really uncomfortable. I’m now wearing a Genie or Belvia Bra, both of which are SO much more comfortable, and provide adequate support. I’ve even been wearing them at night. Although initially I wore them with the pads in I soon took them out and have recently been able to sleep without a bra at all! Hallelujah!
Thanks Karey Sue, I hadnt hear of Genie or Belvia - I bought 4 post op bras, (two in the sale for £3 each) from M&S. one of them is particularly soft and comfortable so it gets worn most days! Bright pink too!
Possibly a question I should have asked!!! had bilateral mx and recon 5 weeks ago and trying to get comfortable bra has been awful! Will be googling tbat later -thank u xx
Thanks for that information. I have bought quite a few bras (after recommendations) but stll have not found one that is completely comfortable, especialy since I have post operative infection and swelling. Someone on this forum always has the ability to provide helpful information and support, so thanks again. Xander
