I had a mastectomy with tram flap recon immediately in early June. I have been wearing crop tops (no wires) since. Just wondering what is the situation.
In bed I wear a crop top too for support- only 34B so not a lot to support!
I find that any other bras even sports type are too restrictive.
I suppose my question is - do you wear support in bed or not? Also what, if any bras are good for day use - I bought a couple of nice non wired ones but not comfy.
I have to have skin removed during surgery as cancer close and the new skin has healed well but any seams rub on it.
i wear underwired t.shirt bra’s, i found them sports bra’s far too uncomfortable, put up with them for four weeks, but then i went back to my old bra’s, i had to have skin removed round the nipple area as it died, so had proper stitches in for two weeks, but had a dressing on so it wasn’t too bad, i had my op on the 29th of june, at night now i don’t wear a bra, and i have a bra free day about once or twice a week, i was told 6 weeks for the sports bra, but mine has been fine, have you spoken to your bc or surgeon Muddy?
