I had a lumpectomy and lymph node removal in April for triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma, followed by radiotherapy in August.
When I went back 2weeks later for results (clear margins) I mentioned about my other breast having pain, but it got told it was nothing. However 5months later it’s still there 24/7 burning painful and same in my ‘cancer’ side, burning, hot, really sore and always itchy needing to scratch! Under arms are feeling swollen too.
I went to my GP few days ago as I could feel a lump in my other side so he is referring me back to the breast clinic.
I’m now wondering if it’s IBC?!

its hard to know what it is, but it sounds like something is wrong and you are doing the right thing to get it checked out. Hopefully you will get your referral through quickly and it will be nothing serious. All the best.
