I called myself Victoria Meldrew because for the first couple of days after diagnosis I kept saying “I don’t believe it” - I sounded just like Victor Meldrew.
Leeloo is a name I use on gaming forums, don’t ask well do, my OH is addicted and I once had the mentality if you can’t beat him join him.
Was originally known as Mrs Doyle as he is called Fr Jack Hackett from the Fr Ted series sad I know.
Then I was watching the 5th Element one night, a film I absolutely love and decided to change my name to Leeloo which is Milla Jovovich’s character in the film and she has a fantastic body and looks stunning. I suppose it is out of jealousy really then.
I love reading the meaning behind all the names.
FizBix, your name sounds like it should be a chocolate covered biscuit ![]()
Yeah one with that popping candy on it that explodes in your mouth, cool maybe I should TM that, could be a seller
Leeloo, if you TM it, don’t forget it was my idea
but i don’t mind sharing the profits… and i suppose we’ll have to give FizBix a share too lol
well, I never, took me a couple of days, Cathy, but I caught up with you
shame on you…miss whiplash…

I 1st put my full name & then the moderator changed it for me.
Chose cottoneyedjo as friends call me that after we looked up the meaning of the song title and found out it is an americanism for someone drunk on moonshine!
I am usually drunk on red wine or Bacardi & Coke. Not all the time - I hasten to add. Just at get-togethers & happy drunk not quite to the up-chucking bit.

Mines dead boring. Just my real christian name and initial of surname. I was like cathy, in too much of a rush to log on. Just wanted to say how many peeps have odd names but then sign themselves with their own christian name! Interesting how we want to still be us!.
Irene
When I started I always signed horace then someone on this site said she didnt answer my posts because she thought I was a man!On the other site there are a lot of Vals so I often put the val in brackets after horace. If I ever get to 10 years clear I will put 'horace’my bc persona away in a box forever!
Valxx
The colour of a very special Irish pony that came to us 10 years ago, who has so often been my reason to wake up.
My name is pretty boring. I put 40 on the end because in October i turn 40. Apparently like begins at 40!!
Abbreviation for …well its not rocket science so I’ll leave you to guess, but I’m not keen on it as it sounds formal and lady like which I’m not!!! hence magsi.
The real name means pearl which interestingly starts off as a bit of grit irritating a oyster … I’ll say no more.

Wish I had something clever to say!! I was in such a hurry to join in, and was in SUCH a state of shock, I used anything that came into my mind, the first one was taken!!
I never in a million years thought I would be identified with it!! Thought it was just a password! Cant even blame chemo brain!!...hadnt started.
I was going to say next time I will think of something more original but I certainly hope there will NEVER be a next time!
TORONTO I was sure you were Canadian! See, our name is soooo important!
Silversue rather speaks for itself, I’ve had silver hair since is was in my teens, stopped dying it in my very early 20s and have been this colour ever since.
