I am very confused about when you should phone the hospital. I have been sick and temp of 37.9 for 4 hours now. I phoned the hospital an hour and half ago and explained the symptoms, they still havent phoned me back. Am i been a hypocondriac?, when should i phone, what symptons should i look out for.
Is it normal for you temp to go up and down?

can your day get any worse??? if you are still unwell with a high temp, I would phone hospital back

ring them back. i was told to ring if/when my temp is past 37.5. was told to ring each half hour to update the hospital.

dont have BC nurse as in limbo land now on chemo.
Yep it has been the day from hell. Think i feel sorry for my hubby more, he does no what to do. fortunatley kids have been VV well behaved.
Have phone hospital again, they said they carnt find bed manager, and promise will phone back. This is the NHS, name and shame warwick hospital, god help me, and all who sail in her (sorry always wanted to say the last, bit, just added it on)
A G&T beckons, but best not with temp.

Hospital just phoned, told me to go to A&E, 2 hours later! there is an infection on the cancer ward, great!
Stear clear of farries ward
you should still be able to speak to a BC nurse when on chemo they should follow you through all treatment.
don’t let it go higher, just turn up at the hospital.

bad night 4 hours in a&e then put on ward full of v v v old people had antibiotics, consultant gave me a lecture as needed to get to daughters assembly today. Have to go back monday for more bloods and now monitoring temp. God help people who have to go to a&e on sat ngt with all drunks
Hope you soon feel better. Does your hospital not have BC nurses aswell as your communtiy one? Mine does but as its The Christie that might explain why.

have an appointment mon to see ocon(first time ever) going to tell them the whole no support thing not good enough. Waiting hour and half for ring back when have temp to confirm where I am going is pants.
