Where can i find info about trials that are being done?

I am just interested in what trials are being done.
My friend is going to have the same chemo as i had epi and CMF however she has been asked to be on a trial. I think it is about the schedule of the treatment. She is very easy going and willing to help but i want to know if it will be beneficial to her to take part. Sometimes i wonder if the medics target ‘easy going’ folk and ask them to take part on these trials. I know research and trials are important BUT when it comes down to it we all want the best possible treatment and care.

Hi Liverbird

If your friend is willing to the best way of finding out about trials is via her consultant/oncologist. That’s where I get all my info from.

Hi Liverbird

Cancer Research has a database of clinical trials you could search. As always there are specific criteria for eligibility, but it’s good resource. link as follows:

Good luck
