Where to donate old prosthesis in good condition - any ideas?

Following a second mx earlier this year, I have 2 prosthesis which I no longer need as they are the wrong size and which the hospital can’t take back. I thought they would be able to perhaps use them as trial ones for ladies getting the correct size or send them to somewhere deprived. Does anyone know of an organisation and/or hospital who would want them? They are both size 7 and the triangular shape but one is trueform normal weight and the other is an Amoena comfort light. Thanks for any suggestions.

Bumping to make it show!

Any ideas?? Any contacts via BCC??

Hi lizcat

I have attached a link to a thread about what to do with bras, prostheses etc. See the last post by Leah which has some useful contact details.

I hope this helps.

Very best wishes

Thanks!!

Also - hospicesofhope.co.uk/breast_prostheses.htm - go to ladies in hospices in Eastern Europe who didn’t realise such things existed until Hospices of Hope got involved. Quite a traumatic read on their website. My old wigs and scarves went here after Round 1.
