Hi Sana

Sorry to hear you are feeling so rotten. When I finished chemotherapy and rads, etc, etc four years ago, the oncologist said that it could take as much as two years to get back to feeling more normal. And she was right - I was exhausted for months and had terrible shoulder and neck problems from radiotherapy. Do you think you might be a bit anaemic or vitamin deficient?

So try not to worry too much, but don’t be fobbed off if you are genuinely concerned. (I have recently put a post on the ‘Current Issues/Hot Topics’ board entitled ‘Sunday Times - hospital referrals’ which may interest you).

You’re not necessarily lacking anything. If you think about it, your body has had a lot of nasty stuff (chemo, rads, anaesthetics etc) in it and it’s hardly surprising it’s complaining.

My onc was no help and clearly did not understand when I described the way every muscle and joint aches and stiffens up if I don’t move. Homeopath and chiropractor much more on the case. No magic cures but cranio-sacral therapy was temporary help (and I’ll be back for more) and homeopathic remedy means that stiffness clears quickly when I move now.
