Ok Ive had 2 epi and just after second i shaved my haor off as if was coming out in handfuls.

Now this is the puzzling bit.

A week after second my hair is growing in again is this normal or am I being optimistic

no idea. I am 2 weeks after 2nd epi, so back in on Tuesday and my hair loss has slowed a bit this week, but last time had a really big drop around day 18. I am hanging on to a thin coating of hair but had the cold cap. I cannot see if growing amongst the wispy bits but well done. Did you put miracle grow on your head or something?

nurse is coming on friday so let you know. I dont know if my hair thingy is to do with the fact that my counts are going up instead of down this is so strange I might have shaved my head for nothing lol

Hi

My hair has started to grow back after 3 FEC and I have just had my 1st TAX last week…I have even had to shave under my arms this week - but my eyebrows are definitely thinning - Weird or what?

Hi Joanne,

My BCN says that hair continues to grow through this process, unfortunately it falls out also! I suppose that you could be caught between some falling out and some growing :slight_smile:

Mine isn’t growing, it’s falling out - but not on my legs where I want it to lol.

Hi Joanne,

I shaved my hair off after 2nd FEC and it is growing - on top if not at the sides. I have to shave it (using OH’s electric razor - don’t tell him…shhhh). It’s bizarre! Leg hair not growing though, nor downstairs, nor oxters. Facial hair still a feature, but beautifully blonde…hopefully hair on top will be that colour when I allow it to grow again!

My head hair started growing back when I finished FEC and started TAX…unfortunately the TAX made me lose my eyebrows and lashes completely!

Now I am 7/8 months post chemo with a full head of very curly hair and eyebrows and lashes.

I’ve just finished fec and half the eyebrows have gone and the eyelashes are slowly joining them. I also have wierd white half moons running up my nails, so get nails painted every week. Toenails, a couple going black, like bruised underneath. Roll on Tax - let’s see what it can do to me!
