I have started wig hunting and am not too happy with the wigs i saw today (place recommended by my hospital). Can anyone recommend a decent place with helpful staff? I really don’t know what I’m doing wig-wise and feel a bit lost. I’m inbetween Liverpool and Manchester so can travel to either city.

I got mine from a wig shop in whitefield near bury, just opposite slaterys cake shop. it was paid for in full by my trust. they were fantastic, and the wigs are very very good, no one knew it was a wig. cannot remember the name chemo brain…if you decide to come to manc for the wig i will contact my trust for you just pm me.
I’ve had a wig from here too, but for other easons than chemo. They’re very good and just off junction 17 of the M60 so very easily accesible. I cant remeber their name, but if you look up wigs and type in Whitefield manchester their address is 3 Charnley street.
oh thank you both! i’ll have a drive over there asap and tell them they come highly recommended! The wigs i saw today reminded me of a doll’s head i owned and styled when i was little, i thought that was as good as they got but a friend said i can get much better than that elsewhere. Had no idea where to begin, so thank you xxx
and dont forget to pop over thr road to chocolate heaven, they also have a cfe upstairs so you sample the gorg cakes. u will need cheering up, i found it quite emotive .

I got my wig from Wiggins on Penny Lane in Liverpool. They really know what they are doing and no one knows it is a wig unless I tell them!
