I’ve just nearly given myself heart failure as Ive found a lump in my left breast. I was dx’d in sept 07 and had successful treatment, the usual chemo rads surgery. I’ve now found a lump in my other breast… lower down, near to breast bone in the tissue on the lower right side of breast. it feels moveable but there’s a definite lump, i am so so so scared as i can’t face going through all of this again and am worried so much right now. will ring docs in morning. anyone know if it’s common for bc to return but in other breast, any advice would be so welcome right now, thanks, carrie xx

So sorry to hear all the anxiety has returned I think I can say I have a fair idea of how you are feeling. I have been there too often - first dx in 1990 then again in 1996, which was lobular. I then had another lump in 1999 in the other breast and that too was lobular. I believe it is thought to happen more often with that type of bc. It’s never news we want to hear and if it is the worst then you will find the strength and there will be support here. Do let us know how you get on.
