worried about small lump on jaw

I was diagnosed with bc ,mid jan-grade 3 invasive ductal in left breast,2/15 nodes affected.I’ve had mx and full aux clearance.I recently had a ct scan which was thankfully clear. However for the last month I’ve noticed a small lump on my jawline ,just under my ear,on my right hand side. It’s only about 3mm and is hardish, but I can squash it if I press hard on it.I’ve had an ear infection and liquid on both ears for the last month ,for which I’ve just finished a course of antibiotics.I’m probably being silly, but should I be worried.Would the ct scan have picked up if it was anything to worry about?I’m about to start chemo ,and seeing onc tomorrow.

Obviously, you will ask your oncologist tomorrow, but I had a similar lump a long time ago and it was a blocked parotid (salivary) gland. Mind you, it was painful when I salivated. If you have just had an ear infection, I would have thought it very likely to be as a result of that.

Try not to worry. At least you have an appointment to see your oncologist.
