It has been very long time since I have posted here, I tried not to read too often as I was trying to get over and not remember what happened…
I had my 2 follow ups since treatment over last time seen the onc it was October 22nd and I was very well and he said I look well and not done any test… Beginning of November , I started having chest pains not sharp it is just pushing up to my throat and my chest wall feels so heavy like something stack on my throat… I have been worried so much and keep thinking I have mets but not share it with anyone and did not make earlier appointment my next follow up is on Thursday and I am so worried that I am going to have bad news…
What are the symptoms of bone mets, liver mets ?.. I have had lumpectomy and 6 course of chemo and 20 days radiotherapy.
What test would tell if I have any mets, does blood test shows if any cancer cells in the body?
I have had great help from this site when I was having treatments, I hope you are all coping well with your treatments and thank you for all the support…
hi, i dont know if it helps but when i was initially diagnosed i was also investigated for evidence of the disease in my stomach as i was having similar symptomsd and was also having problems with swallow, investigations showed it was a hiatus hernia and acid reflux. I must say though i think any symptoms like the ones you are having should be checked out by a doctor, chemo does allsorts of things to our bodies so better to get it checked out sooner rather than later.

I have been having pains in the liver area for over a month and finally had an ultrasound on it a couple of days ago. They found that I have a gallstone which would explain the pain…but boy was I relieved!!
So I would say go and get it checked out, it may be something very minor.
Thank you for your replies, I am already feeling relieved hearing that there are other minor illnesses can effect us since got bc I feel bc is responsible for all the pains…I wish I did not wait last two months and made an early appointment, waiting is very hard and my mind is really playing with me.
It sounds like you’re having a tough time at the moment. It may help to give the BCC helpline a call and talk things through with one of our trained members of staff. The staff on the helpline are all either breast care nurses or have expereince of breast cancer and will be able to offer you a listening ear as well as support and information. I have the same symptoms as you and have been having them on and off since the end of November… I finished herceptin due to heart problems then and blamed the pain on that, it appeared to have gone away but came back about 2 weeks ago…I have the oncologist on 26th so will be mentioning it to him then…I just hope it’s damage by radiotherapy or something like that… It can be really quite uncomfortable at times…
On saturday had pain on my chest but I wanted to ignore it went out dancing it got worse later on and called NHS for reassurance. They sent out an ambulance and took me to hospital and investigated for heart it was all clear no Heart problems as I knew anyway. I am worried maybe too much end causing all this imaginary pain or stress causing it or at times I am so convinced that I have the lung mets… I can not wait for my Thursday appointment to get some clear answer to it. As I read about the symptoms of mets it says you don’t usually get any symptoms until it really gets to the stage and chest pain is related with lung mets. I am really hoping this is all my own imaginary pain and nothing more…

Hi Just a quick note I have seen the onc and he arranged for a bone and ct scan also did some blood test so hopefully I will get all my test results 25th of February…Waiting again…
