Hi, im just wondering if anyone can give me some advice/information iv been on many sites on the net and to be honest most of it is going over my head.My mum went for her routine mammogram 2 weeks ago of which she was called back for them to do more tests ( ultrasound another mammo and took 6 biopsies ) They said it was scar tissue but seen as shes never had any operations they didn know why and was hoping the biopsies would tell them more,anyway she got her results today they still dont know if its cancer,she now has to go in for a hook wire localisation biopsy and they also mentioned C3? iv tried asking my mum what all this means but obvioulsy she is upset,scared and doesnt like talking about it, i dont want to push it. i just feel so helpless.

it is going to be very hard for your mum and you not to worry.
in a way it is good that they are doing a thorough check.
maybe it will be better once you know what you are looking for to get the right answers, if that makes sense.
i couldnt ask questions before i knew i had cancer and then to the specific type i had.
hope your mums results are nothing to worry about.
