hi my name is Caroline i’m 29 i went to my GP on Monday as i have found a lump in my right Breast, my GP was great and said she was unsure what it was and it was very large and solid she has refered me up to the breast clinic, what is worring me now is i have a big dimple under my right breast i thought it was because i was getting old and i have had two kids, has anyone else had this, my lump is above my nipple on the right handside and the dimple runs along the underside of my breast, it appeared about 4, 5 months ago and i didnt think anything of it untill i found the lump, i hope i am making sence thanks

We all understand how anxious you feel at the moment.But you have done the right thing but having this checked out. Hopefully you will get your appointment soon. Remember that quite often these things are benign, but it is very hard waiting for the tests and results. Please ask more questions if you have any, there are lots of ladies here to help.

Hope all goes well for you at your breast clinic app.
Now your g.p has refered you to the breast clinic , you will be seen real soon, and if you need further tests, you will get them done in no time.
I was dx and had had surgery with 3 weeks of first visist to breast clinic. My lump was found on a fammilial mammogram, which was real lucky for me, ( am 45, have a mammogramm every year due to 4 members of my family all having had bc, under 45.
i never even felt the lump myself, i already had thickening of that breast but had had it for years, it was quite large and hard, but was not cancerous, i had a tiny 12mm tumor and lymph nodes affected of the same breast , which was found on my mammo.

I just want you to know that I know how you feel I found a dimple/indentation and it was not until I found this website that I went to the doctors about it. Now waiting for thur to come when I will be attending the breast clinic. So you are doing all the right things. My dimple is also on my right breast. I’m sure everything will be fine I was told that a may have knocked my breast and not even realised and this can lead to an indent. Hope you get your referral soon x
Thanks for your reply’s i’m still waiting for my appointment to come though, i went back to my gp on Friday and she is going to chase it up for me, my lump is still there and my gp says i have swelling in my armpit, my right breast just looks werid, not feeling to hopeful, i have a long family history of breast cancer. i think the hardest thing is the waiting, i’m sure my postman thinks i have a crush on him lol, every morning i’m waiting for him ha ha.
