Mine is 35mm, she’s a feisty little thing. Just popped up overnight. I’m 47 so I found it as not eligible for mammograms as yet. Hope that helps.
Lumpetomy is booked and then radiotherapy, poss chemo

Mine was 10 mm and only picked up on ultrasound, not mammogram.
Mine was a 12cm area in left breast but the Right breast had 4mm picked up on breast MRI just before surgery but unseen on mammogram and CT
Can I ask what your treatment plan is roughly . Waiting to find mine out Thursday . Know it can be different- already told it will be mastectomy just looking for rough ideas and hope x

Im er+ pr+ her2- pleomorphic lobular stage 3 grade 2
I hope you are doing ok with it all lovely xx
Yes i think im managing ok. I have no choice so just gettin on with it and planning nice things for when treatment is over. Its been a whirlwind few months from finding a lump to now. Dont know how I got through all the anxious waiting periods! Its so tough mentally. Amazing support on these forums. U can get the best advice and help keep your mind positive. How are u feeling? How much do u know already?
Yes it was my misunderstanding I got the wrong end of the stick and realised later .
So sorry to hear about your marriage as well . Sending love xx
Blimey! Talk about all in one hit
… you couldn’t pick a worse time to split lovie. But, hay, if it’s not right, it’s not right ![]()
At least, you now know that it’s ‘all change’ for you in one go and you can focus on the end of treatment and getting your own life back (100% yours!).
Better to rip the plaster off in one go than prolong the pain longer than necessary eh…
Focus on yourself. One day at a time and keep your eyes on the prize at the end. You get your life back and have a better understanding of your own strengths. You’ll do it. ![]()
Except help from friends, when offered. And bugger those that don’t.
Time to get a bit more selfish…
All the very best to you & remember we are all here… this place has got me through some dark days. We’ve all had ‘em.
Sending hugs!! Great big ones ![]()
I had a enlarged lymph node under arm that started it all. They could not find lump with mamo or ulta sound. I did it was 2.3 cm in fold of breast . So ladies I tell everyone check yourself turst yourself if something does not feel right.
Mine was 8cm
Mine was 3.7cm actual tumour 5.1cm whole tumour that included LCIS etc.
Diagnosed on 28th May. I have a huge tumour that managed to go under the radar for a long time until even I realised there was something wrong. It’s 117cm and they put me on anastrazole on my first appointment which was also a shock, I am waiting for a mastectomy and reeling a bit just now, I keep beating myself up for not noticing earlier but I had a mammogram 18 months ago which picked nothing up and my surgeon says lobular cancer can look and feel like breast tissue for a long time and it’s not my fault
Still, it’s huge…
Morning scribbler !
So sorry to hear your news you will get a lot of support on this forum !
Exactly happened to me went last June for my routine mammogram felt nothing and results came back that I had 61mm lobular breast cancer stage 2 invasive a shock is an understatement!!
Remember it’s all treatable and the NHS are Brilliant .
For anyone who had a larger tumour did you have pain before treatment started. Mine has come on loads since I was in hospital for first oncology appointment. Never hear anyone saying they have pain
Sorry to hear that your in pain maybe mention this to your
Breast care team .
I had a few twinges as I had 2 magseeds .
Mine wasn’t large but I had pain with it @linz1314. I think a lot of whether you get pain or not can depend on the location of the lump. Mine was in the upper outer quadrant with not much cushioning!
Thank you yeah mine is same place and right up at nipple. Breast nurses just say it’s probably psychological but who knows feels pretty real x
Yep it could actually just hurt exactly as you say it does.
That said I have definitely been guilty of manifesting phantom symptoms! It does always become apparent what’s real at some point though.
Yeah I do wonder -it feels so real yet it started after my first oncology appointment when I was hoping to start chemo next week but it’s just till week after x
