I’m 38 and never had a mammogram, I found a thickening in my breast and when checked via ultrasound nothing was found. My consultant ordered an MRI as was concerned as how it felt on examination. Fast forward 2 weeks and 76mm of microcalcifications found on mammogram and a 29mm mass. Just waiting to hear back on final pathology and treatment. I had to go back 3 times to my GP as they just said it was glandular tissue and nothing to be concerned about!

Hi. I had pain after my lumpectomy and lymph node removal . I asked the doctor and he said you have lots of nerves around where the lymph nodes are removed . He also said the incision where the tumor was develops scar tissue that also presses on nerves . Of course any pain we have makes our mind wonder . I’m 2 1/2 years and still have pain off and on from both incisions. I wish you all the best of luck .
