Wrist problems

Hi,
Has anyone had a problem with their wrists, I have been diognosed with De Quervain/Tendonitus in both wrists, plus trigger finger and problems with my jaw. Just been taken off Anastozole and Alendronic now taking Tamoxafin.
I think it may have been the Alendronic but realy don’t know.
If anyone has had anything like this I would appreciate it if you could let me know.

Hi

I have been on Letrozole now for 2 years. I have suffered with trigger thumbs which my GP says is nothing to do with tablets but onc says is. After a few months it wore off. I then developed tendonitis in one wrist badly enough for the GP to refer me to a physiotherapist. She agreed it could be the effects of the drugs and offered me an injection to kill the pain. I declined because my poor body has had enough to deal with and I didn’t want to add anything more to the mix. She showed me some exercises to strenghten the wrist which I do daily and I also rub on arnica gel every evening. Not sure which of these two has done the trick but the discomfort has defenately improved.

Good Luck

Andie

Hi

Many thanks for the feedback,I’ve had the injection in one wrist but
it’s back again so won’t have it in the other one.
Will try the arnica gel though.

I have been taking arimidex for 2yrs6months and was changed to
anastrazole three months ago - the systems were horrendous
it seemed all my joints ached really badly. My GP them put
me back on arimidex thank goodness. But I have been having
pain in my wrist the joint on the left thumb and where
it joins the wrist - was sent for an x-ray and they diagonised
osteoarthritis in the joint and it now the right thumb is getting
quite painful. I am told this has nothing to do with the tablets
but is wear and tear!!!
