just got the result of my ct scan today after one cycle of xeloda and they found out that it helped with the fluid not coming back but the tumour has grown so i was advised to stop the xeloda and have 2 weeks off before starting another chemo called MVP. I am so devastated cos i thought that xeloda will work for me. has anyone been on it? i need all the advise cos i am really worried.
Hi there…sorry I can’t help with MVP… but just to say it took a few cycles, 3 or 4 I think, before Xeloda finally kicked in for me…I was told tablets can take longer to show the benefits than IV chemo, perhaps Xeloda’s not for you but one cycle seems quite short. Good Luck…x.x.x

dont know why i was told to have a scan after one cycle that was so soon
