So , to clarify things a little my grandma is currently kicking breast cancers butt and my mum has never really had a normal smear test result (pre cancerous cells) which is probably why Im feeling really worried .
I have a small group of purple looking indented marks on one of my breasts which arent especially painful but essentially sprung up overnight and have ever so slowly been getting changing over about a month or so.
My breast does get a little warm and itchy so am assuming its an infection. I need to get my act together ad book an appointment but its just all that worry . Im only 18 and it feels bad when I know it is 99.99% completely innocent.
Does anyone have any tips on seeing a dr and being pushy ? My nurse in training friend said I really needed to ask for a mammogram as I have family history.
