Hi, wonder if anyone can help?
I am on monthly Zoladex injections but I am going on holiday for 3 weeks. The injection will be due during the first week that I am away.
Has anyone been in this situation and has either brought the injection forward or pushed it back? I will make an appointment to discuss it with my GP but it would be great to hear if anyone has already been in this situation.

I’ve altered the dates to fit by moving it either forwards or backwards depending on when it’s due. My onc said I would be ok up to about 10 days either way but I’ve never changed it by more than a week. I’m 100% ER and PR+ by the way and am not ‘allowed’ even a month off as they are concerned the bc may spread in that time.
I always consult with onc rather than GP surgery as they aren’t familiar with my case at all.

Thanks Liz, that’s set my mind at ease. When I phoned the breast care centre, they told me to speak to my GP but I think you are right in that it should be the onc giving the advice…perhaps I’ll phone them again.
Up to 10 days either way should work out ok as I’ll have the injection 5 days early and then jet off on hols…can’t wait.
