Zoladex timing query

Hey,

I have a really silly question about the timing of my four-weekly Zoladex jabs.

I have been having them for the last two years on a Thursday at my GP but the last one was pushed to Friday because of New Year’s Day. I’d really like to get back onto my usual Thursday cycle because it fits around my working pattern but I’ve been told by the nurse that they can’t make my next appointment on the Thursday because it’s not the full four weeks (1 day short).

Does anyone know if this is correct? I’m a little bemused that it’s OK to push out by 1 day or even 6 as per their other suggestion but apparently 1 day less is not appropriate?

Ive had mine brought forward by more than 1 day before so should be ok but it has to be signed off by oncologist prior. I had mine done at the hospital rather than GP so was easier to approval.
