Hi 

i have a doubt.  The place where the biopsy done in my breast I can see red lines and itchy. 

should I be concerned?

i know how much frustrated you will be. 

I am also in the same boat they took ultrasound mammogram and biopsy today only

They said it will take ten days for the report and within 1 hr they asked me to come for MRI also on Sunday which I felt so confused

why can’t they wait for the biopsy result and then do the MRI

Don’t know in all honesty, I didn’t have a scan at all apart from the ultrasound at diagnosis. I had grade 2 micropapillary with 3 lymph nodes with cancer, the lymph nodes were clear on the ultrasound, maybe it depends on whether they think it’s contained? 
I would love a ct or mri just for my peace of mind as this is my 2nd cancer in 6 yrs.

Does anyone know why an MRI of breast is done before the result of biopsy comes
