Tubular Adenoma

I have a lump which was diagnosed after a vaccum biopsy as a tubular adenoma. It seems to have grown so I went back today. It’s complicated as before the vaccum it was 13mm, today it was 11mm however following the biopsy they estimated it at 8mm. So potentially has grown. They have agreed to monitor it over the next 6 months. I’m not terribly worried but would love to hear from someone who has been diagnosed with the same thing.
Thanks,
Lil

Hi how are you getting on? I had a lumpectomy and sentinel node removal yesterday for 6mm tubular cancer. Home bit sore but relieved it has been removed. Will have to wait now for pathology results.xx

Hi LilMc. How are you doing I got my core needle biopsy results in the post today the say that the lump is either Tubular Adenoma or Nodular Adenosis. Its benign so i dont need to go back for any more checkups. I am 47 so will be a few years before my regular screening mammograms start. but i will keep up with self examinations and if it gets bigger i will go back. Reading some research online it looks like its quite a rare lump to have. When I had my ultrasound the consultant said what is that, he wasnt sure so that why i had biopsies done. I thought it must be something unusual as they see lumps on ultrasound day in day out. I had a mammogram done as well. So relieved it is benign. it was an anxious wait for results. Hope you are okay. Did you have the lump removed. I am not sure what size my lump was.
