My left foot and hand are the worst . I don’t drive at the moment cos I can’t feel my feet properly . I have tried a few things - capsicum cream ( burns worse than the neuropathy !) , ALA ( alpha lipoic acid ) - didn’t work for me but some people find it helpful and Amytryptalene - knocked me right out ! .Im now trying Gabepentin for a second time building up very slowly as it made very “ zonked “ the first time .
I am also worried about falling over again as it affects how I walk my right foot sort of hits the ground like a flipper I can hear it slapping the ground as I walk (so attractive)😁 My left foot is the worst. Do you use anything?
I am so cold today (the cold that makes your bones ache) I felt like this when I was going through chemo. Filled a hot water bottle put my fleece snuggle blanket on and gone back to bed. Got that blasted neuropathy in my feet again - which does not help.
