Re: 1st cycle of FEC-May 19

Thank you, I’ve been wondering how to do it. I thought I’d just be replying to that person so thanks for explaining it☺️

Re: 1st cycle of FEC-May 19

Hi ilovehunny

Go into the May thread and reply to the last message that's on there - you won't just be replying to that person and will be able to introduce yourself to the May starters

If you want to reply to a specific post then put the person's name

Its a bit confusing at first but you'll soon get the hang of it!

Re: 1st cycle of FEC-May 19

Hello

I am not very technical so I am sorry I don’t know why you can’t post on the May one, it’s always worth trying again??

I am on EC, so not sure how different it is but others on the May thread are on FEC too. Are these expected side affects? If so just keep taking your temperature to re-assure yourself. It is hard and every change we start imagining the worst which is not a surprise given where we are.

You can always ring your nurses for re-assurance if you need this. I’m sure they wouldn’t mind and it will happen a lot.

take care

love Ruth

1st cycle of FEC-May 19

Hi,

I’m not sure what I’m doing! I’ve subscribed to the May 19 board but I don’t seem to be able to write on that board?

Anyway, I’m on day 8 of my first cycle of FEC and feeling ok. I’ve had lots of little aches and pains which make me paranoid that I’ve got an infection coming and it’s wearing me out!

Does anyone know when your white blood cells start to increase again? I’m due to go away 16 days after my first chemo and don’t want to be worrying constantly if I go somewhere that’s a bit crowded.

I’m finding it so tiring having to think about infection all the time.
