Red Robbins where do you get cannabis oil from please as I can't pm you. Take.
Hi
my partner has just had a mastectomy - the tumor was quite large 92 mm & of 16 lymph nodes removed 7 were found to be cancerous - she has just had a c t scan & marrowbone scan & if the results show the cancer has not spread then she should start chemotherapy next Friday. We have a supply of cannabis oil but my partner is reluctant to start taking it fearing the oil will compromise the effects of chemotherapy - do you have any advice that might help her to decide whether to take the oil alongside her chemotherapy treatment. She is 48 years old & is opting to use the cold cap during chemotherapy hoping this might help hair loss.
thank you in advance
kind regards
Jonathan

Some reports suggest that CBD oil might help some people who have cancer - it does seem to help with some of the side-effects of chemo for instance. haven't seen any proper medical studies that suggest that it's a good idea to use it *instead of* Tamoxifen. It's okay to try it alongside the treatment your doctor recommends, but Tamoxifen is a very highly researched drug and is proven to be effective for breast cancer.
Tamoxifen works by blocking the production of the hormones that were in effect feeding your hormone positive cancer. Studies show that taking Tamoxifen (or similar, ie Letrozole) blocks the uptaken and production of hormones, and people live longer and are less likely to have a re-occurance.
I have been on Tamoxifen for 3 years now. I have to take it for ten years. I took cbd oil when I was having chemo and I do think it helped a bit with the sickness. Tamoxifen is estimated to be giving me a 25% increased chance of survival over five years. I had a 2.8cm lump , very hormone sensitive, and 6/17 lymph nodes positive. So for me, I think Tamoxifen will increase my chances of surviving. And I hate taking tablets too!
Best wishes

I would avoid THC. I've seen people swear that you need high THC but I've heard horror stories from women with estrogen receptor cancers who say THC was fuel to a fire. I've been looking at a site called Realm of Caring for products they recommend and through them I found Charlotte's Web. HIgh CBD/low to no THC. I only JUST ordered it, can't speak to any healing properties, but I wish us all the best of success.
From what I've been able to learn, if you are ER+, HER+ OR triple positive, then you do NOT want anything with THC. There's talk of THC actually almost boosting estrogen, not the CBD. I'm only newly diagnosed, but I'm looking at Charlotte's Web for my oil.
I have just had breast cancer surgery, they can't at present give me radiation treatment because they found a shadow/nodule on my lung plus I cant have hormone treatment as I have osteoporosis, so I really want the oil that can help. Thank you
I have just had surgery for breast cancer and am awaiting scan results on my lung for a shadow/nodule. I want to get the oil used for treating cancer.

Hi there,
I'm really interested in getting some good quality CBD oil to use for my breast cancer. Could you give me details of where you got it from?
This site gives some advice on dosage and suggests starting lower and increasing slowly: https://www.cureyourowncancer.org/dosage.html
I would be grateful of any help with good CBD oil , a good friend of the family has terminal cancer and has been given 6 months to live.

Hi Mai7
You're right that article is all a bit mixed up on the info it gave on Tamoxifen and CBD oil receptors. Dropping it under the tongue and vaping it doesn't make any difference, the receptors are not in the digestive system. The receptor they are talking about is an enzyme that is secreted by your liver - enzyme CYP2D6 is responsible for the metabolism and removal of approximately 25% of clinically used drugs. So any drug that you take by any means, meets up with the liver receptor enzymes eventually.
The 'conflict' they're talking about is how fast, or how slow a drug is removed from your system by this enzyme.
If you go to the wikipedia article on CYP2D6 you can see a list of all of the drugs that speed up or slow down based on these enzyme levels. CBD oil is down as an inhibitor, which means that using it would slow down the speed that Tamoxifen is removed from the body. I'd be more worried if it super speeded it up.
If you're at all concerned go have a chat with your local pharmacist about it, you could show him or her the article on CYP2D6 and ask him or her to explain it. My brother is a pharmacist and that's how I got my head around it all.
My take on it all is that it seems okay to take CBD oil by any means, drops or vape.
I believe there are already a number of serious studies into the effect of CBD and cannabis on cancer, so hopefully they'll work out whether it has any serious benefits in the not to distant future.
Here is a recent article about CBD oil followed by the website I've purchased from: https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/news/derby-news/grandmother-says-cancer-almost-gone-967552
I put a couple of small drops under my tongue so it absorbs quickly into the blood stream. I also vape it to get it into the blood stream. I read somewhere that there may be a conflict in the liver between tamoxifen and CBD oil trying to compete for the same receptors and the CBD oil may block the tamoxifen. Dropping it under the tongue and vaping it avoids it entering the digestive system and the liver processing it into the bloodstream, it gets in direct instead. I only read about the tamoxifen clash on one website which wasn't a particularly reliable source so it could be complete garbage.
Hi Zena so glad to hear you are clear of cancer , can you please tell me what oil you have used and where purchased from please? as i have been diagonosed with invasive breast cancer and would like to get some oil to shrink my tumour . your reply will be highly appreciated. thanks in advance

Hello, I just wanted to know how many mg do you take of the cbd oil?
I see a lot of people using charlottes web. I am considering this, but have seen that it is very important to make sure that ratios are correct. In view of this - is it really safe to be taking? ER positive and HER2 receptive
Hi - I'm also confused about the labelling of CBD:
to a layperson what does this actually mean:
10ml = 500mg Whole Plant Extract >30% CBD = 150mg CBD (1.5%)
To me it's saying that in every 500mg of dried extract the cbd content is at or greater than 30%, thus in a 10ml bottle it's 150mg, and in a 30ml bottle it's 450mg cbd (3x 150mg).
But why does it indicate in brackets 1.5%? 1.5% of what?
And what is the carrier oil (if there is one)?
Am I correct in saying that a 10ml bottle contains an extract of cbd oil that is 30% strength but that it is mixed in a solution of a.n.other oil and is so diluted that the bottle contains now 1.5% actual cbd oil?
Clarification required to assist me through this minefield of purchasing please.
Many thanks

Hello
Try using the " black edition" from CBD brothers, 3 droplets under tongue every morning...do not swallow, at least allow to metabolize under tongue for 30 seconds or more, then swallow.

Hi, I just wondered if anybody would know if any of the products sold at CBDbrothers.com would be suitable for topical use? I was considering applying it directly to my skin instead of taking it orally where the breast cancer is on my chest wall (I have just completed radiotherapy). I would obviously leave it for a little while until the skin has settled before applying anything but I was interetsed in trying this as I had been reading about topical use of CBD oil. I have got a CBD oil cream through amazon but that is only 1% CBD oil - I am not really sure what strength I should be using topically but that seems very low and somebody said that it is better to use pure oil rather than a cream but I am not sure about that. If anybody had any additional information about topical use of CBD oil and what might be suitable I would be very grateful. Thank you very much.
https://cbdbrothers.com are the very best....and the white edition is suitable for post operative/chemo/herceptin as a natural anti proliferative
Thanks for the advice! I'm glad CBD is helping. Where do you buy your CBD oil? I have found a few places online. I thought this place looked good - https://www.healthrack.co.uk/health-supplements/vitamins/cbd , but I have no idea what I am looking for and at what prices.
