I'm on letrozole and zoladex. The reason being that my BC was hormone positive and the idea is to stop the estrogen from being produced. Also, I have a large fibroid, so they didn't want me on tamoxifen. I'm on them for many years!

Thanks Sue C. It wasn't so much of a question as I wondered if anyone else was having them. A lot of people are on tamoxifen but I hadn't heard anyone else getting zoladex injections. I've got to have then for 2 years.

Hiya, your oncologist does not appear to be concerned, as she said it is likely to be something innocent, it could actually be a bit of a seroma, which is a build up of fluid which eventually disipates.  I had one on the edge of my scar, it took several weeks but eventually it disappeared.

It is good that she is getting it checked out for your own peace of mind.  Let us know how you get on xxx

Hi Sam 😘😘❤️❤️Please my darling try and keep calm. I’ve been the same as you have on heightened alert when feeling my boob too and got my onc to have a feel this week too. Our boobs have been through so much and tissue is knitting back together and can feel different which we all immediately think 😳😳😳your onc will have felt things like it before which is why the check with the scan darling. It’s eady for them to tell us not to worry, but we do, it’s only normal. Keep those gold hotpants hoiked up lovely and we’ve got you keep 💪💪💪💕💕✨✨shi xx

Evening lady’s 💕 been to see my oncologist today 💕 I asked her to check my boob as the scar tissue feels very lumpy she said it’s normal but found a little cyst like lump while feeling about 😱 she said she will send me for an ultrasound incase it’s a fibroadenoma 🤔 but she said not to worry as she’s not worried 😢 I can’t help but worry now surely if it’s anything like a cyst or worse it would of shown up 3weeks ago when I had mammogram and ultrasound 2hrs b4 surgery? Help plz I’m hoping it’s down to surgery but i will contact my BCN tomorrow....Xx

I was hoping my hair would come back through grey instead of the colourless mousy brown I had but it’s hard to tell as I had enough left from before to mask what’s coming through. It’s still got its curl too.

I liked Meesh’s description of it looking like she’d let a 3 yo loose on it. I’m going to get mine cut short again to match the length of the stuff that’s coming through. Growing curly hair from short to any kind of length is going to be a messy job!

Mishy, which TV programme was the cbd oil lady on? If she's taking one with thc, presumably that's illegal. I wouldnt feel confident sourcing or using that. Especially as I want to keep driving. Did she say where she got it from? Also, there's a question mark over whether the thc part can cause ER+ to grow. It's such a mine field to know what to do.

My Lush soap should come today. I've been trying to pluck up courage to restart aquarobics. My hair is such an embarrassment, I think I need to get it cut short at the sides now.

will try and post a pic of my hair later...I have a soft covering all over but salt & pepper look and feels like a tennis ball 🎾....a friend had been away for a week and said she was amazed how much it had grown, been using the lush New soap religiously!!

Going to try the Cbd oil ive decided did any of you see the lady on this morning who is currently in remission of a stage 4 cancer after using cannabis oil during chemo she now takes it all the time, uts quite controversial aa it has the THC in it still si it gets you a little stoned but it was an amazing story who knows!!!

Oh yes sorry shi they were OK need an endoscopy now for stupid stomach problem was chemo that started it but he says it should have stopped now as a SE so they want to have a look incase i have a ulcer or something 😝 more tests but its still a small price to pay isn't bet your over the moon its last treatment of your bc triathlon what a 🚂 ride eh!!!!

Buddy i love them don't worry your hair will make a come back soon us fec first ladies had a little longer for hair follicles to recover my last chemo made mine drop out again buddy (the abraxane) i bloody love my new hair im not even going to diet its a symbol of what I have been through and im proud of my post chemo hair you will love yours too!!! Anyway grey is really fashionable too people pay a bomb for it!!!!!

Wow ladies lots of hair discussion going on buddy hang on in thrre remember you had fec last its def the hair killer i cold capped once and mine all fell out 1st round!!!
Colour discussion is interesting mines a different colour but everyone loves it, growth is sporadic i had loads on top before sides caught up and one side grew faster than the other i have a white flash at front and its definitely thicker than it was before and it was thick then, chemo curls now showing i now have to use serum to style it and wet it in the morning to keep it under control as i niw suffer with bed head!!!!!!

What hair has come back has a lot of grey in it. Sure I didn’t have that much grey before chemo. I can see me breaking out the hair dye as soon as I’m allowed, I’m knackered tonight, told my neighbour to knock on if she needed anything after her husband passed away a couple of weeks ago. Not sure how i found myself moving all her furniture round 😐 xx

Although I never lost my hair it is still really thin, the top seems to have come back a bit quicker than the sides.

If you girls come back curly, me and Rach can give you some curly girl tips! The main one is don't fight it as you'll only lose and with the exception of conditioner, less is definitely more. You'll need to ditch the combs too (apart from when freshly washed). 😊

I've always been red head, carrot top as a child mellowing to auburn lately. My fluff however is really dark, almost black! It's ever so exciting lol. Still no body hair but annoyingly found a chin witchy whisker yesterday! What fun eh? Am preparing for surgery next Tuesday, having mx and diep reconstruction. Be nice to get it over with... hope everyone is doing well xxx

Runnerbean, nope, I'm still losing and virtually bald on top and back. No sign of any growth but FEC (the hair killer) was the last three of my chemo rather than first three like most of you.Sounds like I'll have to wait until May before I see any improvement. I'm going to have to embrace my baldness as I'll be on holiday with it in May. 🤣😂🤣😂

My hair is the opposite, coming back on top but much more slowly around the sides. Wonder if it is being rubbed by my hats? It is thickening and I have a proper hairline that can be seen in poor light rather than having to have the sun shining on it 🤣

Morning ladies, I’m just wondering g about hair growth. It’s over 7 weeks now since last chemo and I have a covering of hair in the back and sides but still nothing on top. Did anybody else find the top came back later than the rest? Maybe it will grow soon as my eyelashes are coming back now and looks like eyebrows won’t be far behind xx

Morning ladies...

My hair is def growing over last few weeks, feels like a tennis ball!  Keep going hatless while indoors but still a bit cold to venture outside without it!  Eyebrows are still quite sparse and eyelashes very fine!!

Only 2 more rads left for me.....last 2 are a bit later at 9.52 am which means it’s not so much of a rush in the morning for me!!  Boob is quite uncomfortable now and nipple quite itchy 😱

Thought I’d share this photo OH took of me yesterday for those Unicorn lovers out there.....felt a bit of an idiot going into Claire’s accessories to do it tho!!! 🦄✨✨

I have a good coveing of hair - a dark haired skinhead. I do think Herceptin might slow my hairgrowth down and i am feeling a bit impatient about it! I would just like it to be long enough for me not to wear my wig!

Buddy yours will hopefully start growing soon. My last FEC was 8th November. Then 8 had 3 PTH. I only had sprouting hair in Jan but now my head is covered and thickening up xc

My eyebrows are growing strongly but I can't see any evidence of hair growth. My last FEC, the hair killer, was 22nd Jan so I expected to see something by now. In fact I am still losing it and now look like some sort of bag lady. I think I'm going to have the straggly bits all cut short. I really didn't think I would care about losing my hair, but actually it is bothering me now.

Meesh, mines the same, I’m booked in on Saturday for a tidy as I’ve got long and short bits. I had to throw the lush soap away. I couldn’t stand the smell. I do use conditioner too.

Buddyfan, I've bought the lush soap but haven't used it yet as I've been using my moogoo shampoo. I did start to use conditioner on mine last week as it was looking quite dry and straight 😳it's helped quite a bit and it's looking a bit more curly. Most of my thinned areas now have a covering of hair day those areas have grown quite quick. I don't think anyone would know now that I've had chemo they would probably just think I've let a 3 yr old loose on my hair with a pair of scissors 😂🤣😂🤣
