Re: starting chemo soon, tips and advice please

Hi cazzy
I had TC chemo, so can share my experience.
I found that I had no sickness at all. I took the meds for a few days when I felt nauseous, but was never sick. What I did struggle with was fatigue. Now this was partly me, but I found the first week, I didn't really do much. I didn't feel ill, just had little energy. So just prepare yourself for that first week. Eg, shopping, washing, etc. Then sit back, and rest.
Try joining the monthly chemo thread in June when it starts.

starting chemo soon, tips and advice please

I am starting Chemo within ten days, no actual date yet. I will be given TCH, which is docetaxel-carboplatin-trastuzumab and pertuzumab (the last two also known as herceptin and perjeta). Any hints tips advice and warnings very welcome.  Thank you Cazzy
