👍glad antibiotics are working Helen 👍 don’t ever for one second think you are bothering your team, they want you to be vigilant and call them with any concerns during chemo, it helps them keep you safe ❤️ I was always on the bat phone during chemo 👍 getting safely through it is priority 👍 yes it’s been glorious today 🌞 keep safe 💕💕✨✨Shi xx
Thanks for your advice Shi, I will do. I am always worried about troubling people unnecessarily but I know I need to get over that! Plus the oncology nurses are always so lovely and reasssuring. Feeling a bit better today so the antibiotics obviously work fast.
Hope the sun is shining where you are xxx
Helen ❤️ If you don’t feel well even taking your prescription please ring your unit don’t wait and think oh I’ll see how I feel tomorrow, you need to keep on top of any risk of infection/infection 😘 like I said with uti you don’t always have a temperature. I had my dose reduced after first chemo and did not have a uti again during chemo. Please keep safe and rapid response if you don’t feel right 💕💕✨✨Shi xx
Thank you for your message Shi, I rang the hospital because I was dancing around in agony later and couldn’t sit down! Burst into tears on the phone as I was telling the oncology nurse how painful it was. She organised a prescription of Trimethoprim and I am starting to feel slightly better already (I can now sit down!). Hope this doesn’t happen every chemo session.
Thanks again and have a lovely weekend xxx
Please check with your team, sorry predictive text 🙄💕💕✨✨Shi xx
Helen, please ring your unit you might need antibiotics, I had that when I did chemo, no temperature, burning wee and it was a uti that needed antibiotics, please just check with your bit to keep safe ❤️💕💕✨✨Shi xx
Hello lovely ladies, I hope you are all doing well. I am on day 11 of my first EC chemo, spent yesterday skipping around saying I feel so much better! although did have slight discomfort when having a wee. As I was going into hospital for my picc line to be flushed I took a sample with me, it tested clear but they have sent it off for further tests. Anyway woke up this morning in much more discomfort, feel fine in myself and temp is normal. Have drunk loads of water which I do anyway. Will ring hospital but wondered if any of you had experienced the same? I know the C drug irritates the bladder.
Any tips would be very much appreciated. Thanks for reading, Helen xxx
