Can Letrozole side effects be immediate?

Hi Ladies,

I’ve just started taking letrozole this morning, but to reduce estrogen production while I go through fertility treatment before chemo/rads start. I had my WLE and SNB almost 3 weeks ago. In the past couple of hours I’ve started to feel pain between my shoulder and forearm and wonder whether it’s even possible to have side effects like that already??

I guess it could also be to do with nerves healing, or I might even be imagining it! ??

Hi Caroline
In my experience, it took a little longer to get any side effects! The only thing I found initially was a dry mouth and slight nausea. This soon wore off though. Its more likely to be healing from the surgery.
