Has anyone come off zoladex and noticed any side effects? I was on it for 4 years and after just a couple of weeks, my breasts feel very sore and tender. Very uncomfortable.

I had my last zoladex injection (been on it for 3 years) early November so it will have been in my body for the next 28 days so it’s still early days for me but I haven’t noticed any side effects. I am still taking tamoxifen and in a couple of weeks I’m going to have a private menopause blood test as both my GP and hospital declined my request. I have suffered hair loss and I am hoping some of that may recover now?
Could your tender/sore breasts be a sign that you have a period coming?
I will let you know if I get any side effects

Hello Sue, I was just wondering how you are feeling now? I haven’t had any noticeable side effects of stopping the injections (still on tamoxifen). I did attempt to have a private blood test but I either couldn’t get enough sample or I obtained enough sample but not quick enough so I had to abandon! Regards Michele xx
