Re: High liver score

Hi bondgirl.  Thank you for replying as it is nice not to be alone in this.  Stupid me for cingratulating myself on escaping some of the side effects.  Dr is sending me for a liver scan so that’s another concern.  However, the scores were a tiny bit raised in January - I’d been in pills for about a couple of months then.  Being on the pills  It’s the only thing that’s changed.  However, I do feel less fatigued today.  Glands are still up but less exhausted and I didn’t have anything to drink last night.  I’m going to stop all alcohol and see how it correlates.  I’ve just had a wine case from Majestic as well😭😭😭😭

do let me know how you get on.  Fingers crossed.

Re: High liver score

Hi, I too have had raised liver function results for the 3 years since treatment. Saw oncologist last week and they are at 170!! He too talked about the elephant in the room as he called it. I said there isn't one I drink a couple of glasses of wine at a weekend that's all. I see a specialist Thursday so will report back coz I too have been feeling solo tired like when having chemo plus no appetite. Will let you know how I felt on. 😄

High liver score

Hi

have been suffering from fatigue, bit of nausea, glands up all the time.  Just generally feeling grotty for a bit.  It all got worse in April, after Easter Holidays, and by the end of May, before half term, I had to take a day off and was as bad as after rads.  I went to GP, as worried I had chronic fatigue syndrome.  She ordered loads of blood tests.  I had a telephone appointment today with some Dr in the surgery.  She told me that the liver function results were very high 103 and they should be 33.   Also cholesterol raised.   She assumed I was a raging alcoholic but I’m not.  Probs only have a couple of glasses a week and a small gin and tonic.  Perhaps a beer or two but some weeks I don’t drink at all.  Also not obese - am a small size 14.

Am now very worried but think it is down to the letrazole.  My blood tests in Jan showed a slightly raised amount but nothing to worry about.

will obvs not drink anything and keep to a low fat diet for forseable.

Anyone else had any experience of this.
