Re: How long for the pain in joints to ease up?

kathyx,

So sorry you still have pain.  It's a tough decission to make, pain or chance of more cancer. I am leary of quitting the letrozole but the side effects are not good for me.  I wish you luck with whatever choice you make.

This is what worries me about starting AIs in a week or so. People say that you might as well try because you might not have the side effects and others say they stop when you stop taking the AIs but I'm still badly affected by the Taxol 3 months later and I'm just not sure about risking it.

Hope you feel better soon.

Hi Deecamp. So Sorry to hear about your pain. I developed arthritis in both of my shoulders after 5 m9nths of letrozole and was extremely down. I stopped taking it at the end of october and I feel much better but my shoulders are still the same up to now. I am hoping they will improve with continued physio. I hope you feel better soon too xx

How long for the pain in joints to ease up?

I have been on letrozole for 7 months I have quit taking it due to the increased pain in my osteoarthritis, doctors tend to just ignore it and say it's part of the process does anyone have any idea if the pain subsides after stopping letrozole?
