Thanks for replying, I’ve seen another thread on here and it would seem side effects vary from brand to brand so I’ll try and stick with the first brand to see how the side effects are, I spoke to the pharmacist and my doctor didn’t specify a brand so I’m going to call them tomorrow to resolve it.
It does seem to vary whether people are affected by changing brands , some seem a lot more sensitive than others . Maybe see how you go on this brand and if side effects are noticeably worse speak to your pharmacist about whether it’s possible to stick to the same brand . I think GPs can specify a brand on your prescription but the way pharmacies operate often means they are tied to buying certain brands from suppliers so you may need to shop around .
I was prescribed Letrozole by my Oncologist and collected a months pack of Accord brand tablets, I’ve just collected a repeat prescription from my doctors and they are Manx Healthcare, should I be continuing with the same brand or does it not make any difference?
