Pain in thumb and funny bones!

Re: Pain in thumb and funny bones!

I’m not the only one then!  I’ve also been on trastuzemab and pertuzemab in the past , but only Anastrozole now.
My funny bones are only sore when I stretch my arm out straight, ok when bent.  My GP said it was golfers elbow (no I don’t play golf).  However on the thumb problem, pleased to say it’s finally gone after about 2 months. I’ve also used ibuprofen gel on it and it worked!

Re: Pain in thumb and funny bones!

Hi Cara,

Yes, how weird - I have a painful funny bone,  thumb joint and finger joint. Recently finished docetaxel and carboplatin with trastuzemab and pertuzemab, followed by EC and now back on the trastuzemab and pertuzemab. No idea which causes the pain. It makes lifting anything very difficult! I have googled it but can't find any info. Been rubbing on Voltarol.

Has anyone noticed pain in both funny bones, not elbow bone which is sore to touch also painful thumb, I’m blaming Anastrozole, anyone else noticed this or have I uncovered a new side effect?
