I was previously diagnosed with early BC 4 years ago and was put on Anastrozole but because it returned in the other boob last December I have been put on Tamoxifen. I can’t say I like it . Anastrozole was fine but Tamoxifen has more side effects. I know it’s early days but I’m impatient! I haven’t got a Breast Care Nurse so I can’t ask her so any solutions would be gratefully received.

I know that ladies have said different brands have different or little side effects. I take the Teva brand and take my tablet at 9am. I have a big hot flush about an hour after taking it, some “warm” moments in the evening and occasional joint aches but to be honest apart from that I have been ok. I know when I first started taking it 2.5 years ago the first 8 weeks were difficult as I had headaches etc., but realistically I think it was part the stress of everything I had been through and my body getting used to taking it, I am not the best at taking tablets any way.
