Trigger finger and letrozole

Hi you lovely people i have been taking petroleum for 6 months and I have now developed  trigger finger which is extremely painful especially at night. I have tried naproxen which did not really help and my dr has now suggested a steroid injection I wondered if any of you had had this done and if so how successful it was

I haven’t had a steroid injection for trigger finger but my friend has. Hers was the result of taking anastrozole and she said a steroid injection solved it immediately. Sorry it’s second-hand evidence but, as she’s a violinist, I trust her judgment about something like trigger finger.
